Friends, I won't lie to you. I've been struggling a bit here. A lot of that is probably because we've had exactly only one sunny day in the last month and a half in Chicago, and it turns out, people need sunlight to live? Or at least to maintain anything resembling functional brain chemistry?
1-for-42.
Since March 21st, only 1 of the past 42 days in Chicago has been sunny.
What's normal? 10-11 sunny days. We've been shorted a week and a half of sunshine.

Making matters worse, of course, is when my coworkers go off gallivanting somewhere warm and sunny. While I toil on the phone here in a dark Midwestern basement, Bryan is off enjoying sunshine in Arizona for spring meetings.
These are really eventful meetings, with hundreds of college sports administrators, including conference commissioners and ADs. In today's Going For Two, I managed to peel Bryan away from the conference rooms for a bit to chat about what's going on.
