Who are the Latino college football coaches?

Good morning, and thanks for your continued support of Extra Points.

There's so much happening in college sports right now. Between conference realignment, NIL, NCAA governance reform, potential scholarship limit alterations, and oh yeah, actual college sporting events, it would be very easy to miss stories that aren't completely pegged to the news cycle.

I almost missed this one, but I'm glad I didn't, because I think it's one of the most important things I've read in a minute. My friend Ethan Joyce wrote a really excellent, detailed story for the Winston-Salem Journal that sought to answer some important questions.

Just how many Hispanic or Latino football coaches do we have in D-I? Who are they? Where are they? And how do we talk about this community in the first place?

I want to talk about this story here for a second.
