In today's Going For Two, Bryan and I dug into a few of the upcoming votes from the D-I Council.
One of those votes is likely to end the current 25-man limit on college football recruiting signing classes. Right now, FBS programs can have up to 85 athletes on scholarship, but can only sign up to 25 during a particular recruiting cycle.
This rule was put into place to help prevent coaches from signing tons of high school athletes, and then "processing" them, which is such a sanitized way of saying "running them off the team." P5 scholarships are supposed to be guaranteed for four years, but in practice, this isn't really the case.
